Q: How does Blogitive make me money?

A: Once you are approved to the Blogitive system, you are given access to opportunities from companies to post about their news releases. You are paid per posting.

Q: Do I have to say nice things about these companies?

A: No, you would simply be writing a quick article about their news release. No different than a newspaper does.

Q: How do I get paid?

A: We pay all bloggers weekly via Paypal.

Q: What if I don’t have a Paypal account?

A: As of now we only pay via Paypal.

Q: What are the requirements to be approved?

A: We have basic requirements to get approved for Blogitive. Mainly we require that your site receives (or can receive) some level of traffic. All blogs currently in Blogitive must be indexed into Google and Yahoo search engines. We also do not accept blogs with content of a violent or hate related nature, and we do not accept adult content. We also require that the blogs be maintained with at least 3 postings per week on average, and that they are at least 3 months old.

Q: What is my site is not indexed into the search engines?

A: This is usually because the site is to new, or doesn’t have any links pointed to the site. Start commenting on other people’s blogs, submit to some directories, and ask friends to add you to their blogroll.

Q: How do I know if my site is indexed into search engines?

A: Go to Google and search for “site:youwebsite.com” and see if it lists your site.

Q: Why is being in the search engine important?

A: The clients would want to know that their news release can be found in search engines, and the link to their site from the release helps their search engine efforts, but only if the other site is indexed into the search engine.

Q: Do the search engine mind this tactic?

A: No, search engines need people to create content that is unique and relevant. By supplying that, both you and the client are helping the search engines grow it’s index. Just make sure to supply as good of content as possible.

Q: Can I have more than one blog in Blogitive?

A: Yes, you can have as many blogs as you like. Each blog has to pass the minimum standards.

Q: Do I have to take offers that are assigned to me?

A: No, offers are placed into general population on the site, and people select the offers they wish to follow up on.

Q: How many offers can I do per week?

A: There is no limit on how many postings you can make.

Q: Can I post about the same client twice?

A: No, I posting per client, per month. This is to assure maximum exposure for our clients.

Q: Can I combine postings and include two client stories?

A: No, each posting much is individually written for each client.

Q: Can I have other revenue systems on my site, like AdWords.

A: You can have any other revenue stream you like on your website. We only ask that you not add content that is adult orientated, or objectionable like linking to a hate or porn site.

Q: How much can I make per posting?

A: The standard amount is $5. This may vary depending on the sponsor.

Q: Can I mention that these are sponsored listings?

A: Yes, you should feel free to identify these postings however you like. Some people even create a new category for them. The goal is to get people to read the posting, not trick them.
