Free Wordpress Themes
Over the last few months I have been searching for the just the right Wordpress theme for the new blogs I am creating. It hasn’t been easy. There are so many themes to choose from. Through my search I have found a number of free Wordpress theme website that I thought I would share.
Many of these sites offer a theme browser for you to view the theme you are interested in. Some of the themes are repeated throughout these web site but there are still a number of themes to choose from.
WP Themes and Wordpress Themepark are probably some of the most visited sites for wordpress themes. The new themes being offered on these sites are some of the best. You can also go to this site and use the theme browser to test the themes that interest you. All you have to do is click on the theme that interests you and it will upload the new page in the theme you selected.
This theme browser allows you to choose the style (1-4 collums, colors, sidebar location, etc) of blog theme you are looking for. Alexking is another one of the major free theme providers but many of them are the same as the previous theme browser. Bloggingthemes.com also has a few nice themes and Wordpress Diva has added 31 free themes you can check out. Scribez also has a few nice ones and Weblog Tools Collections has a list of all the latest themes as well as wp plugins. Web Tools Collections is a good source because you can find all the wordpress theme designers out there.
There is also this site that sell themes for around $50. Many of the themes on this site are very professional looking and would be worth the money (and no I am not an affiliate).
So I hope my search has helped you. It’s a lot harder than you think to choose one. I am still trying to decide.

Yes that will help new WordPress user a head start.
In addition to all those there are other few resources like-the Chris Pearson’s site,problogging, gluedideas etc.

Thanks, that is useful. I’ve set up a wordpress blog in preparation of the new opps that you announced. Need a nice looking theme for it now.
