Welcome to Blogitive

Welcome to the official launch of Blogitive. To those of you already participating in Blogitive, thank you for your support in helping us get to this point. For those of you who are new, this is the time to start making money through blogging.

There have been a few copycats launched since we started this project 18 months ago. We are proud to say that we will continue to create innovative opportunities for bloggers to earn money without selling their souls.
Currently, bloggers can earn money by blogging about companies press releases, much in the same way most major publishers find many of their news stories. When a company wants to promote a new product through the press, they issue a press release and have PR firms contact news agencies to convince them to write up a good story. When companies want to push out their news to the Web, they can turn to applications like Blogitive to reach blogger directly. Blogitive is the most effective way of promoting a press release through the Web. And, it provides the blogger an opportunity to earn money by simply doing what they want to do – write!

Blogitive will be launching some exciting services in the weeks ahead, all geared towards letting bloggers earn money without advertising. The next opportunity will be announced here next week, and we are very excited about it.

We are also excited about finally launching the Blogitive blog. This will allow us to make Blogitive a true resource for bloggers looking to make a living from blogging. We will be posting new articles several times per week with advice and tips for making your blog successful. So add us to your RSS feeds right away.

Thank you again for your early support. You’ll be hearing from us again very soon.

    Hi Blogitive Team,

I’ve enjoyed Blogitive and so far it’s one of my favourite paying blogging companies. The opportunity to earn is great and support turnaround (thanks Brian!) is quite fast compared to others.

Looking forward for more blogging opportunities.

    Best regards,
    Tel Asiado

Congratulations on your official launch! I’ve found Blogitive to be an asset in more ways than one. Part of being a writer is learning the ability to say what needs to be said effectively and at times in as few words as possible. With the advent of Blogitive, I have quickly learned the art of changing the slant on a topic while getting paid to do so.

    Thanks!

I alwats think of blogitive as the ORIGINAL and though there may be copycats, I wouldn’t frankly trust them as much as I have always trusted blogitive!

  4. bugsey Says:

oops.. typo.. i meant “always” — as in “always blogitive”!

Great launch! I have one minor yet slightly annoying issue… I have to log in twice to actually get in. Why is that?

  10. ed Says:

Geeky Dragon Girl, we are working on that issue. I know it’s very annoying. We should have this fixed next week. Sorry about the extra hassle.

  11. Mona Says:

Thanks Ed! You got me started with paid blogging. I am very thankful for Blogitive.
I hope the comment about “selling souls” wasn’t directed at the new company PayPerPost. If it was your understanding of this company is false. I have been a PPP blogger for 3 months and have to say it’s is another great opportunity for bloggers. Taking opportunities is much the same as taking offers from Blogitive. I only take offers from either company that interests me so I am never come close to selling my soul. Many advertisers don’t require positive posts and those that do can be passed if a blogger does not truly have something good to say. Will there be people that take offers that they don’t find true value in but still post positively for the money? Yes, because there are dishonest people in the world. Paid posting did not create these people they were already in the blogosphere. The issue of paid blogging has become controversial because people can’t see that honest bloggers can still post honest posts. Whether you are a blogger for Blogitive, PayPerPost, Blogging Ads, Blog for Profit or any of the other many companies that will be emerging soon, you can still be true to yourself and give your honest opinion. The controversy with paid blogging is more of an issue of the trust a reader has in the blog they read. A blog is in reality a person or persons view of what ever it is they are blogging about. If we invest our time in the person that is blogging then we can decide for ourselves whether they should be trusted. As readers, we don’t have to check our brains at the door and believe what we read just because someone said it. On the other hand, if you value and trust the opinion of a blogger than it shouldn’t matter whether they got paid to post or not.
I may be incorrectly assuming your comment about “selling souls” was directed at PPP but it seems those are the popular words of choice for this company. I defend Blogitive and PayPerPost because I can see their potential. Giving all blogging the opportunity to make a guaranteed income is what makes these companies so wonderful. It may be that Blogitive has started this new opportunity for bloggers but there is nothing wrong with other companies following behind. These “copycats” should have been expected. After all paid blogging is a great idea.

I do realize that Blogitive only requires that you write about a “press release” that does not require a positive or negative feel but to be honest the press release is not much different than an advertiser’s opportunity description (PayPerPost). It’s up to the blogger to choose what best fits their blog and to be honest. I really see the press releases and advertiser opps as paid writing prompts.
    I hope I haven’t offend you, I am just “blogging” my opinions :o ).
    Thanks again for this opportunity.

Thanks Ed. Glad to hear this extra hassle is being looked into.

I also hope there are some projects coming soon, unless I haven’t been invited lately. ;)

    G’day!
    Tel

  13. Dee Says:

Couldn’t we just bookmark the second page and avoid this one to login or wouldn’t that work?

  14. Dee Says:

Yep … it works! I just bookmarked the URL and then opened a new browser and clicked on the bookmark and it works.

Although I do like logging in here first. That way, I get to see the news from Blogitive and interact with my fellow bloggers before I check my offers. That was a great idea Ed.
